Snowshoeing at Collins Marsh

Snowshoeing is a fun and easy way to get around in the winter time and fight off that cabin fever. Collins Marsh offers 5 “official” snowshoeing trails with trailheads located off of our parking lots. We also have over 4,200 acres you can snowshoe independently.

The marsh can be a challenge to traverse in the warm months but the winter is a perfect time to get out and explore!

REMINDER: The area immediately across JJ from the nature center is closed from September 1st – December 5th.

In February, we offer a free event to the public where you can try out snowshoes for free and explore our hiking trails. Last year over 70 community members spent the day with us. Do you have your own equipment? Then feel free to snowshoe our trails at anytime. We’ll see you at the marsh!
